Daniel G. Karst, age 68, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI.
Dan was born June 4, 1953 in Fond du Lac, WI, the son of Archie Karst and Jean (Porter) Hoffman. Dan served our country as a member of the United States Marines. He married Harriet Lehman in Fond du Lac, WI in 1992. Dan worked in construction in his younger years and as a farmer later in life. He enjoyed spending time on his computer in his free time.
Survivors include his wife, Harriet Sue Karst of Ripon; son, Daniel Joseph Karst of Ripon; stepchildren, Melissa Kemnitz, Christine Stephen and Richard Kemnitz, all of Ripon; 11 grandchildren; and siblings, Don Karst, Millie Atchison, Joe Karst, Ricky Karst and Cathy Karst. He is further survived by several nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Karst and Jean Hoffman; brother, Roger Karst; and sister, Diana Karst.
Per Dan’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. A memorial is being established in his name.
