Dale Marlyn Kautzer, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on August 6, 2021 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, WI.
Dale was born August 27, 1935 in Medford, WI, the son of Edward and Althea (Greene) Kautzer. He served our country as a member of the United States Air Force. Dale married Mary Ann Prellwitz on December 30, 1960 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. He was a HVAC Technician for Condon Total Comfort in Ripon for 35+ years. Dale loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed reading Western novels and watching old Western movies on TV. Dale loved to take long car rides in the country and often spent his weekends exploring the Wisconsin countryside. Dale was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his five children, Jeff Kautzer of Oshkosh, WI, Rhonda Kautzer of Ripon, WI, Michele (Dave) Zimmerle of Ripon, WI, Rich (Sharon) Kautzer of Green Lake, WI and Ann (Chris) Cerney of Ripon, WI; eight grandchildren, Brittany (Bradley), Travis (special friend Kassea), Melissa (Anthony), Angelica (special friend Reuben), Josh, Sammi (Timmy), Emma and Kurtis; eight great-grandchildren and one on the way; and a sister, Faye (Tom) Sondalle of Princeton, WI. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Althea Kautzer; his wife, Mary Ann Kautzer; and ten brothers and sisters.
A visitation for Dale will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Per Dale’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, City of Ripon, WI, with Reverend Bryan Fritsch officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may directed to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association
