Chris loved farming, working his land, and taking care of the livestock that he treated like family. This made him endlessly happy. His unique sense of humor was constantly bringing a smile to the faces of others. He took nothing for granted, always making sure to take time to enjoy all the small things about life. Throughout his courageous battle with cancer, he taught us many lessons. Perhaps the most important being never to feel sorry for yourself. Cherish the love your family and friends provide and make the most of what you have every day.
