Cheryl Miller

Cheryl J. Miller, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cheryl was born in Ripon on November 24, 1946, the daughter of Neal and Dorothea (Warren) Bradley. She graduated from Ripon High School. While there, she met the love of her life, Bruce Miller. Cheryl and Bruce celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September 2017.

Over the years, they raised four children and operated a family dairy farm near Rosendale, WI until 2005. Cheryl also worked for 27 years as a customer service representative at three banks in Ripon, retiring in 2014 from BMO Harris Bank. Professionally and personally, Cheryl enjoyed talking with and helping people. Kindness and compassion were at the core of her soul, and it showed in her warm smile, soft words, heartfelt conversations, and thoughtful cards and gifts. She enjoyed traveling to Door County, Wisconsin Dells and Oklahoma. Two trips to Acapulco and Cabo San Lucas were especially meaningful. The greatest joys in here life included spending time with family, especially five granddaughters. Cheryl will be sorely missed, but her loving legacy lives on.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Bruce of Ripon; a daughter, Tammy (partner, Tim Geenen) Williams of Appleton, WI; three sons, Kevin Miller of Neenah, WI, Matt (Katrina) Miller of Ripon, WI, Chad (Jessica) Miller of Owasso, OK; grandchildren, Emily Williams, Alexa Miller, Merrisa (partner, Levin Vande Berg) Miller, Harper Miller, and Gentry Miller; a brother, Marland (Bettie) Bradley of Springhill, FL; two sisters, Barbara Bradley of New London, WI, and Roseann Reynolds of Byron, IL; brother-in-law, Brent Miller of Ripon, WI; sisters-in-law, Gaylene Bradley of Escanaba, MI, Bonnie (Larry) Gensch of West Salem, WI, and Sue Miller of Ripon, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Dorthea Bradley; a brother, Doug Bradley; brother-in-law, Brad Miller; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Loretta Miller.

A visitation for Cheryl will be held from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main St., Rosendale, WI, 54974. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Tim Albrecht officiating. Interment will be held that afternoon at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial in Cheryl's name is being established. A special thanks to all of the health care professionals with Agnesian Healthcare Cancer Center and Hospice who cared for Cheryl.
