Cheryl Kartes, age 62, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
Cheryl was born March 19, 1955, the daughter of Joan L. Burger. She graduated from Ripon High School. In 1982, Cheryl married Kenneth Kartes. She worked as a secretary at Speed Queen in Ripon.
Survivors include her son, Thomas Eick of Ripon, WI and one aunt, Carol McElroy of Ripon, WI. Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, husband and aunt, LaVerne (Harold) Toussaint.
Per Cheryl’s wishes there will be no service. Inurnment will take place at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn. A memorial is being established in her name.
