Cecilia Neuman, age 96, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Cecilia was born January 30, 1917, the daughter of Louis and Pauline Copiskey in Tomahawk, WI. She graduated from Tomahawk High School and later went on to attend Madison Vocational College where she obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. Cecilia was married to Fran Taylor, who passed away, she found love once more and she married Harry Neuman. She was employed by Central Colony in Madison as an LPN and was a lifelong member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her children, Nancy Frank, Beaver Dam, WI, Jeanne (John) Owens, Ripon, WI, and Kathleen (Donald) Bornick, Largo, FL; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Rosiak, Kenosha, WI, Violet Butler, Oshkosh, WI, Clara Willett, Tomahawk, WI; brother, Roland Copiskey, Tomahawk, WI and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Pauline Copiskey; son, Leon Taylor; two husbands, Fran Taylor and Harry Neuman; brothers, Lyle and Arvin Copiskey.
Visitation for Cecilia Neuman will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013, from 9:00-11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac Street, Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Cecilia Neuman will be held on Monday, July 22, 2013, at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Inurnment will be held at Calvary Cemetery at a later date. A memorial is being established.
