Catherine M. Treptow

Catherine “Tinka” M. Treptow of Fox Point (previously Ripon), WI passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at CSM Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon after a short hospital stay. She was born on December 1, 1937, in Kenosha, WI to parents Alban and Rachel Campbell.

Tinka grew up and attended school in Ripon, WI. She lived in the Ripon area for most of her life, and she was a devout member of St. Catherine of Siena parish. She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life – beautician, factory worker, school cook – before a long retirement.

Tinka will be remembered by her family and friends for her cooking and baking; her love language was food, which she made and shared with everyone. She had a room that was always overflowing with cookies and donuts, especially during the holidays.

She had a wide circle of friends, including her Tuesday coffee club, and she was active in many church events. Most of all, she loved her family and entertaining at the holidays.

Tinka was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia (Seidl), Mary Lois (Kuehn), Rachel (Espinosa); and brothers, Gerald, John (Chet), and Michael.

Tinka was previously married to Herbert Treptow of Brandon, with whom she shared two children. She is survived by her children, David Treptow and Kristine Dunphy; sons-in-law, Scott Lenski and Sean Dunphy; grandchildren, William, Ava, Matthew and Margaret; sisters, Bernadette Weiske and Constance Marabella; a brother, William Campbell; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation for Tinka will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Mass of Christian Burial for Tinka will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, with Fr. Chuck Wrobel officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
