Catherine L. (Kay) Rank, age 62, of Ripon, passed away suddenly at her home Thursday, May 5, 2005.
Kay was born August 15, 1942, a daughter of Clarence and Clara (Swerderski) Thompson. She graduated from Ripon High School and married Leland Rank on August 12, 1961. She was employed at JM Smucker Co. in Ripon and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Leland; son, Timothy; sister, Geraldine Haverty of Oshkosh and brother, Thomas Thompson of Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Todd.
Visitation will be at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon on Monday, May 9, 2005 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Ripon. Rev. Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will be at Ledgeview Memorial Park and Mousoleum. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
