Carol Wittchow

Carol J. Wittchow, age 87, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home.

Carol was born in Ripon on September 6, 1934, the daughter of Hubert and Florence (Gedlinske) Kunde. She attended school in Ripon and on December 13, 1952 married Kenneth Wittchow. Ken passed away in 2020. Carol was a caregiver and loved to help those in need. She was a devoted member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Ripon. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her son, Gary (Christine) Wittchow of Wild Rose, WI; two daughters, Connie (Terry) Zalas of Fremont, WI and Debbie Schraa of Oshkosh, WI; 17 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Wittchow; parents, Hubert and Florence Kunde; sisters, Jean Schuller, Ann Wienke, Marilyn Kurtz, and Dorothy Schulties; grandson, Jonathan Zalas; foster son, John Boegner; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Boese and Lois Novak.

A funeral service for Carol will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Our Saviour's United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971, with Rev. Dr. Kevin P.
