Carol V. Lukoski

September 7, 1933 — May 19, 2026

Ripon

Carol Lukoski, age 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Evergreen Retirement Community in Oshkosh, WI, in her adorable, cozy little room with her family by her side.

Carol was born on September 7, 1933 in Ripon, WI, the youngest daughter of three children to the late Bernard and Esmer Voysey. She had a wonderful childhood and often reminisced about living above the “tin shop” that her Dad owned and operated. Her brother, Bob, liked to tease her a lot, but he also fondly referred to her as “Ducky” which she loved. Her and her sister, Jeanne did a lot together; they shared friends, enjoyed dancing, and singing.

Carol married her high school sweetheart, Bob Lukoski on November 28, 1953, and were married for 63 years. Carol’s career was mostly spent as a dispatcher for the Ripon Police Department. She liked the challenge and uncertainty that came with her job. She worked full-time, yet managed to also raise a happy family with Bob. She retired after 25 years.

Her true passion was crafting, especially quilting. It brought her joy to shop for fabric, cut the fabric, and sew the fabric. She spent countless hours creating beautiful quilts and had a flare for using gorgeous color combinations. Carol loved her quilts so much she had a hard time parting with them. She created numerous Quilts of Valor and was truly moved giving them to veterans who are so well deserving of them.

Survivors include her oldest son, Dave (Sherry) Lukoski of Ripon, WI and their children, Ben (Dr. Ellen Beebe) Lukoski of Madison, WI and Kayla (Nate) Hendry of Eau Claire, WI; Tim Lukoski of Arlington Heights, IL and his children, Brenna Lukoski of Goffstown, NH, Garrett Lukoski of Chicago, IL, and Kathlin Lukoski of Arlington Heights, IL; Todd Lukoski of Clintonville, WI and his children, Luke Lukoski of Onalaska, WI, and Laura (Justin) Reed of DeForest, WI; and Annie (Ron) Fenner of Ripon, WI, and their children, Austin (Lexi) Fenner of Ripon, WI, Hayden (Casey) Fenner of Neenah, WI, and Landon (Rylee) Fenner of Austin, TX. Carol is also survived by her five great-grandchildren: Adalee, Tripp, and Andie Fenner of Ripon, WI, and Rhett and Willa Hendry of Eau Claire, WI. She was so excited to have her sixth great-grandchild later this summer. Carol is further survived by other family members and dear friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lukoski; her sister, Jeanne Savignac and brother-in-law, Thomas Savignac; her brother, Bob Voysey and sister-in-law, Violet Voysey; in-laws, George and Vera Lukoski; and daughter-in-law, Karen Lukoski.

Carol’s family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff at Evergreen that were so kind and showed her true love and compassion. We would also like to thank Compassus Hospice. We also appreciate all the support and frequent visits from family and friends.

It would be Carol’s wish for anyone who knew her to never pass up a shopping opportunity, eat candy while you can, and watch or attend a Brewer game. Carol was asked hours before she passed what the three most important things in life were, and her response was simply “family, family, family!”

Carol and Bob loved Winnie the Pooh quotes and their family feels this one suits them best, “How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” (A.A. Milne)

Carol’s family will hold a private gathering after cremation. Her and Bob will be laid to rest together after the gathering at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ripon.
