Carol A. Brack, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Barrett House in Ripon with her family by her side.
Carol was born December 4, 1935, in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of Henry and Anita (Draheim) Dern. She graduated from Sheboygan High School. In 1957, Carol married Jerome Brack. She worked in food service for the Ripon Public Schools. Carol was a member of the V.F.W. Post #5278 Auxillary as a past treasurer. She was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon, volunteering in the Messiah Lutheran Women’s Guild.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Brack of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Sue (Douglas) Schuettpelz of Green Bay, WI and Kathy (Mark) Robichaud of Ripon, WI; three grandsons, Justin (Lizzie) Schuettpelz of Green Bay, WI, Brady (Terisa) Robichaud of West Allis, WI and Trevor Robichaud of Columbus, WI; one brother, William (Judy) Dern of Mercedes, TX; one sister, Pat (Donald) Losey of Beecher, WI and one sister-in-law, Sally Dern of Emmett, ID. Carol is further survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Marie and Conrad Brack and one brother, Richard Dern.
Visitation for Carol will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, from 9 – 11:00 am at Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A V.F.W. Auxillary Service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 11:00 am with the funeral service to follow at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Bryan Fritsch will officiate. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. Memorials may be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 or V.F.W. Post #5278 Auxillary, 404 Ransom St, Ripon, WI 54971.
