Carleton Rudolph

Carleton “Buda” Wayne Rudolph, age 83, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh, WI with family by his side.
Carleton was born August 7, 1934, in Ripon, WI, the son of Wallace and Florence (Anklam) Rudolph. He graduated from Ripon High School. In 1953, Carleton married Joyce Belongia at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. He was employed with Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company with it later becoming AT&T as a cable repairman. Carleton retired in 1985 from AT&T after 32 years of service. He belonged to the Telephone Pioneers of America. Carleton and Joyce enjoyed living in Crooked Lake after retirement until 1997, when they moved back to Ripon so Carleton could be closer to physicians because health was a concern.
In his early years, Carleton loved to bowl. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and being outdoors. He liked playing cards with family and friends. Carleton was an avid sports fan, especially the Packers and Brewers. He watched his favorite music, classic country on RFD TV.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Rudolph of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Deborah (Bill) Brooks of Seymour, WI and Sheila (Jeff) Thomas of Ripon, WI; son, Scott (Janet) Rudolph of Appleton, WI; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey (Wilma) Rudolph of Montello, WI and Gary (Pat) Rudolph of Fort Walton Beach, FL and sister, Marlene Walkowiak of Ripon, WI. Carleton was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Florence Rudolph; daughter, Vicki Rudolph; three brothers, Edgar, Wallace and Norman and one sister, Leona Dahlke and in-laws, Orville and Gertrude Belongia.
Visitation for Carleton will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, from 10 – 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Carleton will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, at 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Joanna D’Agostino officiating. Inurnment will take place at Mountain Cemetery in the Village of Mountain, WI at a later date. A memorial is being established in his name.
