Carleton Krueger

August 27, 1942 — July 10, 2014

Carleton Karl Krueger, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 10, 2014, after a perfect day of doing what he loved, fishing with friends.

Carleton was born August 27, 1942, in Ripon, the son of Karl and Adaila (Hamberger) Krueger. He graduated from Ripon High School and in 1963, Carleton married Christine Wiegert at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ. He was employed by Alliance Laundry Systems for 46 years and a member of United Steel Workers of America Local 1327. Carleton also put overhead doors in for Modern Pole Builders in Ripon. He was a life-long member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ being baptized and confirmed there.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Krueger of Ripon, WI; two sons, Carleton (Deena) Krueger of Ripon, WI and Paul Ruggieri of Glendale WI; daughter, Jessica (Donald) Pier of Neenah, WI; four grandchildren, Keegan, Austin, Brandon and Spencer; sister, Charlett (Chris) Wiegand of Ripon, WI; special fishing friend, Joe Merrill and his son, Jake and many other relatives and friends. Carleton was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Betty Ann and many aunts and uncles.

Visitation for Carleton will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014, from 3 – 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Memorial service for Carleton will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 5:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. A memorial is being established in his name.
