Betty (née Brooks) Miller, age 93, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon.
Betty was born in Omro, WI on December 3, 1927, the daughter of Harry and Bessie (Rice) Brooks. Harry passed away when Betty was only 15 years old. In 1945 Betty married Garth “Pat” Miller. Pat worked as an operating engineer. Together they had four sons, Jeff (Patty) Miller and Wyatt (Linda) Miller who both have been married over 50 years, Scott who passed away in 2005, and Cole who passed away in 2014. She was further survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; cousins; nieces; and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Floyd and Harry “Babe” (Judith) Brooks. Judith passed away at 94 years old in 2020. Betty is a baptized Jehovah Witness as of 1965.
A memorial service for Betty will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses at a later date. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Maplecrest for their wonderful care of Betty.
