Bernice Sina, age 88, of Ripon passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011, at her home with her family by her side.
Bernice was born on July 15, 1922, in Ripon, WI the daughter of Anton and Helen (Katerzynski) Krystofiak. She attended Ripon High School and on February 23, 1946, Bernice married Emanuel Bukowski who passed away in 1979. On August 7, 1982, she married Roy Sina. She has lived in Ripon all of her life and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, Roy of Ripon, WI; son, Daniel (Pam) Bukowski of Ripon, WI; two daughters, Judith Bukowski of Ripon, WI and Donna Bukowski of Ripon, WI; step-son, Tom (Alice) Sina of Ripon, WI; step-daughter, Sharon (Ray) Yearwood of Oshkosh, WI; three grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren, one step-great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Emanuel Bukowski; two sisters, Dorothy (Joseph) Diekmann and Margaret (Lee) Griese.
Visitation for Bernice Sina will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, from 9 – 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Bernice Sina will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorials may be given to Agnesian Hospice Hope, 745 South St. Green Lake, WI or to a charity of your choice.
