Bernice Ann Parfitt, age 101, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Maplecrest Manor in Ripon.
Bernice was born on March 13, 1920, the daughter of Harry and Anna (Becker) Parfitt. She attended Ripon schools and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. After high school and during WWII she enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and became a Petty Officer 2nd Class. After the service she attended professional photography school and took courses related to photography. Upon completion she returned home to work with her sister in the family owned business started by their parents in 1913. Bernice worked there until her parents retired.
Bernice is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna Parfitt; a sister; three brothers; and two sisters-in-law.
Per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI.
