Beatrice Kasdorf

March 25, 1912 — November 30, 2014

Beatrice Edna Luebke Burns Kasdorf went peacefully to her eternal home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 30, 2014.

She was born March 25, 1912, to Herman and Ida (Haut) Luebke in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Beatrice had an idyllic childhood and graduated from Milwaukee Riverside High School. She trained for twelve years as a classical ballerina before joining Milwaukee’s Carla Tourney Dance troop who toured the United States for several years.

On February 19, 1938, she married the love of her life, Howard Francis Burns in Milwaukee. Together they had a daughter, Kathleen Patti (Roger Weaver) and son, Timothy Michael (Nancy Finch) Burns. They enjoyed raising their children, the Luebke clan, the Saturday Night Club, and traveling our beautiful country, Europe and South America.

Following Howard’s death, Beatrice married close friend, Clifford Kasdorf, who had been Howard’s best friend since elementary school. Together they traveled the world and enjoyed a summer home in Three Lakes and spending time with his son in Florida. Following Clifford’s death, she moved to West Salem Terrace in 2007 to be close to her son and daughter-in-law.

Beatrice was a stylish dresser, fabulous cook and devoted friend to many. She worked tirelessly for her church and was a devoted Christian. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and knit, crocheted, needle pointed, painted and created many family heirlooms.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy and son-in-law, Roger who live in Tower, Minnesota and son, Timothy and daughter-in-law, Nancy who live in Green Lake, Wisconsin and her precious grandchildren, Jeff and Janet, Andrew, Samuel and Lauren Weaver of Bemidji, Minnesota, Dan and Amy, Mara and Brenna Weaver of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Greg and Kristin, Jackie, Jacob, and Johanna Weaver of Hudson, Minnesota, Carey and Kayla of Green Lake, Wisconsin and Patrick and Amy, Paige, Zachary and Addison of Green Bay, Wisconsin and stepchildren, John and Sheri Kasdorf, Clifford and Barbara Kasdorf and Kris and John Schapekahm and their families from the Milwaukee area.
