Barbara Jean Schaufele, age 88, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at her home with family by her side.
Barbara was born March 8, 1931, in Northville, MI, the daughter of Joseph Rex and Marian Eva (Williams) Finnegan. She graduated from Plymouth High School in Michigan. In 1950, Barbara married Robert Schaufele in Livonia, MI. She worked as a dog breeder and groomer. Barbara was baptized as one of a Jehovah’s Witness in 1957 and has continued to be an active Witness for the remainder of her life. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include three daughters, Montie (Rodney) Kemnitz of Markesan, WI, Lindsay (Rodney) Loker of Fond du Lac, WI and Robin (Terry) Fox of Ripon, WI; one son, Robert (Susan) Schaufele of Cleveland, OH; sister, Anne (Roy) Schmidt of Pinckey, MI; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marian Finnegan; husband, Robert Schaufele and two brothers, Jerry and James Finnegan.
A memorial service for Barbara will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 3:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 6107 Forest Ridge Road, Green Lake, WI 54941. Emmanuel Teye will officiate. A memorial is being established in her name.
