Annette Clark, age 86, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in her home in Collierville, TN. She was the only child of Grace and Julius Kotloski of Green Lake, WI and the loving wife, for 62 years, to Jay Clark, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind her three adult children, Gregory (Kathleen), Clarissa (Avery), and Julia (Kyle). Annette was the cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren, Carolyn Clark, Lauren Clark, Anna (Eric) Dunn, Charlsie Mallory, Bryce Lyford, Robin Mallory, and Tristan Lyford; and a great-grandson, James.
Annette spent her childhood in the idyllic small town of Green Lake, where she lived on Walker Ave. Her high school years were spent having adventures with her girlfriends, working summer jobs, and writing letters almost daily to Jay. After high school, she attended St. Agnes Nursing School, in Fond du Lac, WI, where she completed the 3 year training program and earned her RN license. In August 1961, she married her longtime high school sweetheart, Jay, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, in Green Lake, WI. They soon moved to Florida where Jay was stationed in the US Navy. During the early part of their marriage, she enjoyed her work as a nurse before devoting herself full-time to raising a family during her Jay’s long sea duty assignments.
Life as a military spouse meant moving six times over the course of her marriage with Jay. Each time she managed it with grace. Finally, in 1986, they found their own little piece of heaven on four acres in Collierville, TN. Together, they created a welcoming home that was perfect for family gatherings and relaxation. With the arrival of grandkids, Thanksgiving time became especially dear to her and a beloved Clark family tradition. Throughout the years, Annette always took a keen and supportive interest in anything her kids or grandkids were doing. She continues to be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to have known her.
A Memorial Mass is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 530 Ruth Street, Green Lake, WI 54941. She will be laid to rest after Mass at Dartford Cemetery, 431 North Street, Green Lake, WI 54941.
