Anna L. Ramirez

Anna Ramirez, age 92, left this physical earth April 5th, 2023, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI, with her loving family by her side. 

Anna was born on March 5, 1931, daughter of Hazel and David Jones of Dalton, WI. She enjoyed the simplicities of life; chasing lambs and pestering her older brother, Willard. She was commonly referred to as Bma, who spread love and joy that was contagious. Her love was pure and genuine, often warning people she just met that she is a hugger, which instantly made people fall in love with her.

Anna was blessed with seven children and expressed her unconditional love through music, whistling, singing, physical affection and spending quality time during Sunday drives. This love extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, forever imprinting her love in their hearts.

Anna is survived by her former spouse of 17 years, Bernardino Ramirez; her children, Linda Costello, Debra Reilly, David (Jane) Ramirez, Elizabeth Ramirez, Maria Curi, Ricardo (Jean Pilsbury) Ramirez; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. Ann is preceded in death by daughter, LeeAnn; her parents; siblings, Norma and Willard; many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation for Anna will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 9:00-11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

A funeral service for Anna will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Rev. Wesley Wassell officiating. {LINK FOR LIVESTREAM BELOW} Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Dalton, WI.

In the words of Bma, always remember even in our darkest days everything will be “ fine and dandy”.
