Anna R. Dombrowski

Anna R. Dombrowski, age 82, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Ripon Community Hospital, with her husband by her side.

Anna was born on January 27, 1944 in Ironwood, MI, daughter of Raymond and Annarene (Filek) Schlais. She graduated from high school and went on to earn a cosmetology degree from City College of Cosmetology in Duluth, MN. Anna worked for many years as a beautician in Ironwood, Green Bay, Appleton, and Ripon. On May 12, 1972, she married Leon Dombrowski at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom, WI. After she retired as a beautician she worked for Green Lake County as a Mental Health Technician. Anna and Leon loved to travel, and cruises took them to many beautiful areas of the world. She always enjoyed trips to the casino and playing Bingo.

Anna is survived by her husband, Leon Dombrowski of Ripon, WI; a sister, Linda (Richard) DeRoche of AZ; several nephews; dear friends; and good neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Annarene Schlais; mother-in-law, Veronica Dombrowski; and a brother-in-law, Mark Dombrowski.

Visitation for Anna will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 am with Fr. Chuck Wrobel officiating. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in her name to the Green Lake Animal Shelter, PO Box 86, Green Lake, WI, 54941.
