Anna May Beier, age 86, of West Bend, WI (formerly of Rosendale, WI), has gone on to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 21, 2019.
Anna was born on January 9, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur and Emma (Gayla) Haight. She married Arthur Beier on October 1, 1950, and they had a farm, for years, in the Rosendale area. Anna was a devoted homemaker and farm wife and had a deep love of horses and cats. They had 6 children and she worked for a time at a pickle factory and a nursing home until she decided to stay home and be a full time mother.
Anna loved helping people and had a feisty spirit and always looked on the bright side of things no matter how she felt. Her family was the most important thing to her and she would always have a goofy side to her to make you laugh no matter what. She loved thrift stores and loved to paint. She believed in God and spread the word to anyone she came in contact with..no matter what would happen she always would say God knows"...
Survivors include her two daughters, Margie Schneider of Fond du Lac, WI, Tammy Beier of West Bend, WI; two sons, Emerson Beier of Fond du Lac, WI and Larry Beier of Hayfield, MN; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Bonnie Lehman of MO; and one brother, Thomas Haight of MO . She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur; daughter, Barbara; son, David; sisters, Marie and Maxine; and brothers, Mack and Ray.
A private family funeral service was held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Joshua Sherman officiating. Interment followed at Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale, WI. Memorials may be directed to The Salvation Army, 237 N. Macy St., Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
