Ann L. Evans, age 93, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021, at her home.
Ann was born in Green Lake, WI, on March 7, 1928, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Shikoski) Abraham. She graduated from Green Lake High School. On September 11, 1948, she married Rollin H. Evans at St. Patrick's Rectory in Ripon, WI. Ann worked as a Beautician for beauty shops in Berlin, Fond du Lac, and Ripon for 60 years, and retired at 82 years old. She was a member of the Fond du Lac Senior Center and the Holy Family Catholic Community Parish. Ann enjoyed playing Bingo and loved to travel. In her early years she spent her free time knitting and reading.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Barbara Dudzinski of Fond du Lac, WI; son, Rollin (Marilyn) Evans of Albuquerque, NM; a brother, James (Ann) Abraham; six grandchildren, Janet (Chris) Wolf, Mary (David) Venzke, Theresa (Alex) Ingram, Christopher (Katrina) Dudzinski, Michael (Jennifer) Dudzinski, and Vanessa (Sam) Shoemaker-Trejo; eight great-grandchildren, Kairi Wolf, Jackson Venzke, Nicholas Venzke, Bailey Venzke, Anna Dudzinski, Molly Dudzinski, Emma Dudzinski, and Ava Ingram; sister-in-law, Beverly Evans; brother-in-law, John Moriarty; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Mary Abraham; husband, Rollin Evans; a son, Dennis Evans; a daughter, Catherine Vollstedt; brother, Walter Abraham, Jr.; sister, Margery Hunt; and a son-in-law, Phillip Dudzinski; brothers-in-law, Warren Evans, Leroy Evans, Harold Nipko, and Norman Hunt; sisters-in-law, Barbara Abraham, Gwen Brewer, Leola Evans, Eleanor Nipko, Nancy Moriarty, and Eleanor Evans; a niece, Ruth Brewer; and a nephew, David Evans.
Visitation for Ann will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Ann will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971, with Father Leon Martin officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI. Memorials in her name may be directed to the American Heart Association, 300 S. Riverside Plaza, Ste 1200, Chicago, IL 60606 or the Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 676910 Dallas, TX 75267.
