Alfred Schwarze, 94, of Ripon, died Monday, April 24, 2000, at Parkview Care Center after a short stay.
He was born October 12, 1905, in Pearl City, IL, a son to Conrad and Gertrude (Skeen) Schwarze. He married Anna Freitag and she passed away on August 10, 1967. Alfred had been a woodworker at Buckstaff in Oshkosh. He was a member of Ripon Assembly of God, and was very active in the church.
He is survived by a brother, Ervin Schwarze, Montello; special friend, Nancy (Chris) Hollerup, Ripon; and many other friends. Alfred was liked by everyone who knew him because of his cheerful nature. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Robert & Carl, and 2 sisters, Emma Schwarze and Bernice Carson.
Funeral service for Alfred Schwarze will be Thursday, April 27, 2000, at 7 PM at the Ripon Assembly of God with Pastor Donald Deike officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 PM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Ripon Assembly of God.
