Albert Walls, age 93, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at Prairie Place in Ripon.
Albert was born May 13, 1925, in Springfield, IL, the son of Beckwith and Edna (Schumacher) Walls. In 1976, Albert moved to Ripon and was confirmed at Messiah Lutheran Church where he became a member. He worked as an assembler for Diverse Options. Albert was also a member of the Action Club in Ripon and was involved with boxing at the Eagles Club. He enjoyed playing Cribbage at Pastimes in Ripon. He loved country music, old movies and decorating for the holidays. Albert was a kind and loving man who enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Survivors include one sister, Jacqueline Howery of Sauk City, WI, three brothers, Richard (Marlene) Walls of Sauk City, WI James (Dixie) Walls and Daniel Walls all of Fennimore, WI. Albert is further survived by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beckwith and Edna Walls and brothers, Ron and Bill Walls, Beckwith Walls and sister, Barbara Cooley.
Visitation for Albert will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018, 9:30 to 10:30 am at Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Albert will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018, at 10:30 am at Messiah Lutheran Church with Reverend Bryan Fritsch officiating. Interment will take place the same day at 2:00 pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in the Town of Black Earth in Dane County. A memorial is being established in his name.
