Adain Bumby

Adain John Bumby “AJ,” age 63, of Grafton, WI, died suddenly on Friday, September 8, 2017. AJ was born in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, on April 27, 1954, the son of Adain James and Mary (Reichert) Bumby. He attended Bayside school, Nicolet High School, and later Ripon College. He loved working in the “Wood Business” for many years, living and working in the Twin Cities, Minn., West Bend, and Sylvania Ga. He was a member of the Congregational Church in Fox Point, WI. He enjoyed horseback riding, his dogs, and working with his hands at landscaping.

AJ is survived by his daughter, Katherine of Jackson, WI, and brothers James Colin, Harold Ingram, and Charles Douglas, as well as nephews and a niece, his Aunt Mary Jane Bumby, and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Adain and Mary.

A graveside service is to be held at 12:00 PM, on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon, WI, with Reverend Joanna D'Agostino officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution to your favorite charity or to Ripon College.
